Dennis Moreland Draw Gag
Dennis Mooreland Twisted Wire Head Setter Draw Gag. Please select the mouthpiece variant you would like on your draw gag.
The Twisted Wire Draw Gag is built to encourage a horse to soften through its face, poll, and neck while staying in a correct position. The bit slides freely on the headstall, so when you pick up the reins, it applies pressure to both the mouth and the poll at the same time. This encourages the horse to give to the bit, break at the poll, and carry its head in a more collectable frame.
The twisted wire crownpiece gives a little more bite than plain rope, making the cue stronger and clearer. Built-in stoppers keep the gag action from going too far, preventing the bit from sliding endlessly. This setup is ideal for horses that tend to be stronger in the bridle or push through lighter cues, giving the rider more control and helping the horse stay soft and responsive.
