The 65 Shank measures 7.5″ from the top of the bridle ring to the bottom of the rein rings. Crafted from high-quality steel, it features a gradual swooped-back design that creates a delayed reaction, giving the horse more time to respond and think about the rider’s cue before the bit reaches full contact pressure.

This shank is designed to naturally patina and rust over time when exposed to humidity, saliva, or water. The rusting process is intentional, as it encourages salivation and relaxation in the horse’s mouth.
